TOUR N. 31: POMPEII - POSITANO - RAVELLO
 One of our English speaking driving guides will be near the gangway of your ship at 8 am with the Luxury vehicle of your choice to begin this fantastic 9 hour tour.
The Amalfi coast, one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world which has given inspiration to many artists, poets and writers for centuries. The scenery is characterised by mighty cliffs that drop into the sea, breathtaking scenery, lovely little bays and natural coves.
 Our first stop is for photographs over the enchanting town of Positano with Moorish looking architecture and famous high-fashion shops.
The town develops vertically. The homes, one on top of the other, are characterised by arched porticos that give onto the sea, and are painted in pastel colours.
The narrow streets, lined with boutiques and fashion shops, run downhill between the homes flowing onto Positano's wide beach. From here you will have a beautiful view of the sea and the town, as it climbs up the mountainside. On Positano main plaza we'll find the parish of Santa Maria Assunta, there since the year 1,000. The great coloured majolica cupola is visible from all over town. The little beaches of Positano are charming, and easy to get to on foot.
 We then drive along the coastline enjoying the flora and fauna, an area full of colour against the contrasting blue and emerald sea.
We'll then continue to the elegant resort of Ravello, a town of natural beauty, exotic plants and relaxing atmosphere. Here you can enjoy a traditional lunch at a restaurant (not included) with stunning panoramic views.
After lunch you will be driven to Pompeii considered the only archaeological site with a true and complete image of an ancient Roman city.
You will be able to marvel the amazing temples, the beautiful Roman baths, shops, streets and the mosaics that even today are still intact in the Roman villas. The historic and architectural heritage of the area never disappointed even the most demanding visitor.

- Duration of this daytrip: 9 hours
- The vehicle and driver will be at your complete disposal for the entire duration of the tour.
- Comfortable walking shoes and sun hats are recommended.
- A Pompeii tour is entirely on foot and involves around 2 hours of walking. To completely enjoy your Pompeii tour we suggest hiring an official English speaking licensed guide that we can find on site about 120,00 € (euro) for 2 hours (not included).
- If you like, you can ask your driver to modify your tour in any way.
- Entrance fee to Pompeii ruins is 11 € (euro).
- Pompeii is not wheel chair accessible.
- The tour sequence may be changed to avoid traffic or demonstration congestions but will always cover the mentioned sites.
- If you would like to have lunch our driver can suggest a snack bar, restaurant or pizzeria. To avoid unpleasant surprises its always best to inform your driver on how much you would like to spend and the time involved
 Payments: All rates are quoted in EURO funds. Payment can be made in USD, Euro, Traveler's cheques or with Visa/MasterCard/American Express (add 5% for c/c). The fee for private guides must be paid in cash only (no Credit Cards).
Our rate includes a vehicle and English speaking driver-guide for the entire duration of this tour taxes, tolls, fuel and parking fees. It does not include private guides, entrance fees, gratuities or meals unless mentioned in our confirmation.
Our English speaking driver will give a general overview regarding the history of the sites and monuments while in the car before you enter. He will allow all the time you need to visit with NO RUSHING as in group tours.
