TOUR N. 32: POMPEII - SORRENTO - CAPRI
 Our private English speaking tour guide will be waiting for you near the gangway of your ship in Naples, Sorrento, Positano or Amalfi and will escort you to the island of Capri with a hydrofoil.
This mighty cliff that rises from the abysses is a true miracle combining earth, sky and water. The Faraglioni (that's how these cliffs are called) with their extraordinary shapes, the green vegetation on the steep rocky slopes, the incomparable scenery, the mixture of nature, art, culture, and jet-set society, make this most dreamed of and celebrated island of them all.
 Once we arrive at the dock of the Marina Grande at Capri you will take the cable railway to get to the famous "piazzetta" (small plaza) with its open-air lounge of tourists and high society life. Here can walk through the shopping centre characterized by petit boutiques and small craftsmen's shops that give you the possibility to admire and buy local products.
Capri is a truly wonderful setting for shopping. If you are looking for the latest designer garment, precious jewellery, or delicate lace, then the picturesque streets of Capri are the ideal places to find everything you wish.
Not far away from the shopping centre are the gardens of Augustus where the view of the Faraglioni and the Marina Piccola are stunning. The park, criss-crossed by innumerable alleys and little stairways, is an oasis of green with a magnificent belvedere.
 After our visit to Capri we will be off to Sorrento with a hydrofoil along with your tour guide. Here you can have a pizza in the main plaza "Piazza Tasso", or simply walk around the town centre.
 After lunch one of our English speaking drivers will take you to the archaeological site of Pompeii to start your private walking tour with your private English speaking tour guide.
In the late afternoon your driver will take you back to the ship after your visit of Pompeii.

- Duration of this daytrip: 9 hours
- Comfortable walking shoes and sun hats are recommended.
- The vehicle and driver will be at your complete disposal for the entire duration of the tour.
- If you like, you can ask your driver to modify your tour in any way.
- Entrance fee to Pompeii ruins is 12 € (euro).
- Hydrofoil ticket is 14 € (euro).
- Pompeii is not wheel chair accessible.
- If you would like to have lunch our driver can suggest a snack bar, restaurant or pizzeria. To avoid unpleasant surprises its always best to inform your driver on how much you would like to spend and the time involved.
 Payments: All rates are quoted in EURO funds. Payment can be made in USD, Euro, Traveler's cheques or with Visa/MasterCard/American Express (add 5% for c/c). The fees for private guides must be paid in cash only (no Credit Cards).
Our rates include Expert English speaking tour guide for the walking tour of Capri and the ancient Pompeii, taxes, tolls, fuel and parking fees. It does not include entrance fees, hydrofoils, gratuities or meals unless mentioned in our confirmation.
Our English speaking driver will give a general overview regarding the history of the sites and monuments while in the car before you enter. He will allow all the time you need to visit with NO RUSHING as in group tours.
