TOUR N. 43 -  ROME  MAJOR HIGHLIGHTS  WITH  VATICAN  TOUR

This tour is for those who would like a complete overview of the beautiful city of Rome and have only one day.  Our tours will allow you to visit more sites of Rome losing less time than any bus tour can offer. 

Our English speaking drivers will take you up very close to the sites to be visited with little or no walking at all. 

Remember, our tours are strictly private, therefore there is no rushing, we go at your pace allowing you to visit the sites that you like and skip the ones that do not interest.

Our driver will meet you at your hotel or pick up point and the adventure will begin by visiting the sites of: St. Paul's Basilica, the splendours of Ancient Rome like the Coliseum, the Palatine Hill, the Roman Forum, the Circus Maximus, the Pantheon and many more.  You'll make a wish throwing a coin into the Trevi Fountain, then off to Navona Plaza, Venice Plaza, the Spanish Steps and more!                

After visiting all these spectacular sites we'll stop for lunch at a very inexpensive place very near to the Vatican where you can enjoy a traditional Italian meal, a pizza or a salad.

Last and of course not least you will visit the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica to admire the collections of masterpieces that the Museum contains.  

***We strongly suggest pre-purchasing  Vatican tickets on line booking at 2 PM in order to avoid long lines that you will normally find every day. To completely enjoy this tour we recommend requesting one of our English speaking Vatican tour guides that will allow you to enjoy the Major Highlights of the Vatican . Cost is 150 Euro for 3 hours.

***We also recommend to pre-purchase your  Coliseum tickets online (if you wish to enter) for the same reason.  Make this reservation between 9.30-10 AM if you plan on visiting inside.

***Please note that it's very important to be dressed in a proper fashion when visiting religious sites covering knees and shoulders.  We also recommend wearing comfortable shoes.
**Entrance Fee to the Catacombs is 8 Euros.
